Join Ariel Peasley, Museum Educator and Department Coordinator at the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education (OJMCHE), for a webinar focused on effective scheduling of educational programs. This session is ideal for those involved in coordinating staff and volunteer-led tours and programs for both student and adult groups. Topics will cover the entire scheduling process, including: handling initial requests, communicating with school and group organizers, coordinating docents, managing tour logistics, collecting data, and more. Participants will gain an in-depth look at how OJMCHE is streamlining these processes and adapting to best serve the community at local and state levels. By the end of the program, the goal is for you to leave with practical insights, strategies, and tools you can apply to your own work! About the Presenter: Ariel Peasley is a Museum Educator and Department Coordinator at the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education (OJMCHE) in Portland, Oregon, where she has worked for over two years. She holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology and Museum Studies from California State University, Chico, and has spent approximately 10 years working in museums in various capacities, with her more recent roles focusing on education. Ariel is deeply passionate about the transformative role museums play in fostering knowledge, compassion, and connection among diverse audiences.
