Position Type: Seasonal (11 Weeks, June 17th – August 30th)
Salary: $16/hr, 33.75hrs/week average for Instructors & 30hrs/week for Floater
Eugene Science Center is seeking reliable, upbeat, and positive individuals to work in its summer camp program for children entering grades 1 – 5. Multiple educator positions are available as well as a floater position. Camp staff will be responsible for groups of campers each week, creating a fun, safe, and inclusive camp experience for each child.
Summer Camp Instructors will facilitate indoor and outdoor age-appropriate activities and lead STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programming.
The Summer Camp Floater will supervise children during snack and lunchbreaks, plan and lead fun recreational activities, maintain snack supplies, and assist with materials preparation, supply shopping, and classroom management as needed.
Summer Camp training is currently scheduled for June 17th – 21st and camp sessions are currently scheduled for June 24th – August 30th.
