Visitor Services and Volunteer Coordinator (Historian) - Oregon Military Museum

The Oregon Military Museum (OMM) is seeking applications for a full-time museum professional. With a focus on volunteer coordination, visitor services and outreach, this position will also support overall museum operations.

Established in 1975, the Oregon Military Museum is the official repository for military weapons, documents and artifacts relating to the military history of the citizens of Oregon. Closed in 2008, the museum is currently in the final phase of upgrades required for reopening. In support of this upcoming reopening, OMM is looking to expand its current staffing with a dynamic and multifaceted individual. This position will oversee visitor and volunteer experiences by creating and maintaining a welcoming, informative and inclusive environment. Social media, marketing, library services or public programming a plus.

This is a Title 5 GS-09 position. Starting salary: $57,023.00
