    The Klamath County Museum is seeking two (2) summer interns to commit to an eight (8) week internship opportunity in collections management. Interns will be provided with the opportunity to work with many aspects of collections care and storage including assisting with a collections inventory and move into a newly created climate-controlled storage facility. Interns will be required to present a report on their experience at the end of the position.

The staff member in this position oversees daily management, operation and maintenance of current and new programs including but not limited to scheduling, budgeting, safety and evaluation. Duties include the management of the museum’s volunteer program including recruitment, training and retention. The Curator of Education works collaboratively with all staff, the Executive Director, the Education Committee, trustees and volunteers.
