Job Opening - Pittock Mansion

Pittock Mansion Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit,  has experienced steady growth since assuming responsibility of daily museum operations at Pittock Mansion in 2007, and seeks a Development Manager to lead efforts to expand our base of support. This includes running a robust membership program (individual and corporate), annual fund drive, major gifts program, and developing other channels for raising operating support. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter who excels at relationship-based fundraising.

Key areas of responsibility include:
Plan, develop and coordinate our membership program
Plan, develop and coordinate our annual fund drive program
Help launch/coordinate a planned giving program
Develop relationships with current and potential supporters (individual and corporate)
Help strategize/coordinate grant applications (we should continue to use a contract grant-writer as needed)
Manage donor database

Required Skills Include:
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Ability to cultivate and sustain donor relationships
Passion for history, arts or culture
Professional demeanor, tact, diplomacy, discretion, good judgment, strong insight and instinct
Ability to maintain highly confidential information, both personal and professional
Proficient in DonorPerfect or other development technology and Microsoft Office
