Oregon Trail Agricultural Museum

Admission: Free, donations welcome. Prescheduled and guided walking tours of the Agricultural Museum, Hotel Western, and Green Lantern Saloon are $5 per person; group rates are also available.

The Oregon Trail Agricultural Museum was formerly a farmer's feed, seed and mill business built in the late 1930s. Highlighted are displays of early farm and ranch equipment depicting the rich agricultural heritage of the Nyssa area, including restored sheep wagons. There are historical photographs of Nyssa and Adrian and nearby areas, and Oregon Trail history. A gift shop with local crafts is located in the museum.

The historic Hotel Western and the Green Lantern Saloon, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, can be included in museum tours. The museum is operated by the Nyssa Historical Society. Living history displays and demonstrations are presented at the museum during the area's major events.
