The Morrow County Museum consists of two buildings, The heritage building on Main Street contains household furnishings, period clothing, and furniture displays. There is also a dramatic display about the Heppner flood of 1903 and its impact on the community.

Vintage farming equipment is housed in another building at the corner of Riverside and A Streets. Murals on the building depict horse farming, the town of Heppner prior to the 1903 flood, the coming of the railroad to the area, and scenes of early sheep-raising.
