The preservation of historic barn sites in the Pacific Northwest will be the focus of the Heritage Barn Conference on May 6-7, 2010 in Walla Walla,
Washington.  Sponsored by the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation and the National Barn Alliance, sessions will include:

-          Barn Survey & Documentation

-          Tools & Strategies for Rural Preservation

-          Barn Structures as Habitat

-          Easements in Barn Preservation

-          Sensitive Barn Rehabilitation

-          Field trips to see examples of adaptive reuse
